TDP Recycled Plastic Composite Profiles
Recycled plastic composite profiles are the basic building block and are designed to replace traditional (timber, concrete and steel) materials used within the construction industry. They also offer additional significant commercial, technical and environmental benefits. The best way of describing the basic recycled plastic composite profile range is to think of them as 100mm x 100mm or 50mm x 100mm timbers or 50mm square steel sections and all the uses these can be put to.
The benefits of using 100% recycled plastic profiles include the uniform dimensions, no knots or splits, UV stability and you do not need to treat them. Just like timber they can be cut, drilled and nailed. We already use these as bearers or joists for our decking range, the tongue and grove profiles are used for our fencing and retaining walls.
The smaller profiles can be used for railings and trellis and in the building industry they are being used as roofing battens where one of the obvious advantages is being impervious to water as well as being very strong.
