Netlon Insulation Support Net from TDP is ideal for use in the rapidly-growing timber frame construction market as it can be simply stapled on to the joists or timber frame to hold the insulation in place, making it very easy to board over.
Available in two product weights – Standard and Premium, both with a roll size of 2m x 100m, Insulation Support Net is a lightweight, polypropylene net which is also durable, easy to cut and rust proof.
It is particularly suitable for the underside of ventilated timber floors during construction and refurbishment, the floors and walls of timber framed buildings, static mobile homes, offices and stores.
Rob Barlow, managing director of TDP said, “Boosted by government grants for insulation and heating improvements and the recent cold snap, insulation continues to be a very buoyant market, and the growth in timber framed construction has also led to increasing demand for TDP Insulation Support Net.”
TDP has also recently introduced recycled roof battens, part of a new range of British-manufactured sustainable construction products.
Made from UK-generated plastic waste that would otherwise be destined for landfill, the battens are also recyclable in their own right.
Being durable, rot-proof and maintenance-free, the new battens perform more effectively than alternative materials.
The products are available from builders’ merchants nationwide.
